The Rifleman (1958) "The Angry Gun" Chuck Connors, Johnny Crawford Vic doesn't seem very angry in this episode but boy, he's positively dripping with attitude! I love his cocky portrayal of a thievin' outlaw who not only steals Lucas McCain's rifle but also swipes son Mark's apples. Yep, Johnny Cotton is a bad apple, all right - bad and proud of it. But Johnny's a friendly son-of-an-angry-gun, he'll light up a cigar and chat with ya as you're lyin' there dying and will pleasantly talk a blue streak as he's gunning for ya. Vic's performance makes this a fun episode. It's available commercially and appears every now and again on television - grab it!
